that Judaism and Christianity coalesced around the use of the sacred mushroom, Amanita muscaria. Out of political
correctness the academic community ruined his career. Since that time many
books have appeared giving indirect support to Allegro’s position. Finally Dr. Rush reveals startling evidence,
proof positive, that Jesus is the mushroom, the portal to the spiritual life.
Rush goes on to question scholarly interpretations of the life and times of
Jesus, and he sees the Old Testament, New Testament, and Qur’an as mythical
